In this exhibition hall, the spatial qualities of the city is translated it´s form. Echoing the dramaturgy of the city, a rhythm of narrow passages that open into squares produce a sequence of compression and release.

The project explores how intimate spatiality can be combined with the public role of a gallery. The spatialitys different scales enable an distinct architectural expression while maintaining uncompromised exhibition spaces. Through this strategy, the building acts as both a continuation of Bath’s historic fabric and a platform for contemporary cultural exchange.
