The Scout Cabin explores the paradox of a building intended for people whose activities primarily take place outdoors. It functions as a necessary base while simultaneously encouraging its users to leave it behind.

A lightweight timber structure and exterior routes passing through the building create a perforated central space with sightlines towards the surrounding forest. The space is enclosed, yet at the same time invites exploration beyond its boundaries. The composition of buildings and outdoor spaces reinforces the sense of proximity to nature, while the necessary functions are organised in a logical and easily accessible manner.
